Stephanie joined The Lodge at Torrey Pines in September 2002, five years after moving to San Diego from Ontario, Canada. Stephanie started at The Lodge as the first Executive Meeting Manager and then was promoted to National Sales Manager followed by Associate Director of Sales. Since July 2013, she has served as the Director of Sales and leads the entire sales team. Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys sunny San Diego beach days with her family and watching her 11-year-old son, Jonathan play soccer, and surf the beautiful coastline of the Pacific Ocean.

Lauren found her home at The Lodge at Torrey Pines in 2018 after five years in the Orange County luxury hotel market. Lauren was born and raised in San Diego and graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Southern California. As the Associate Director of Sales, she handles the Canadian and Midwest markets. She also demonstrates a passion for consultative sales, team leadership, and colleague mentorship. Her extensive experience and knowledge of Southern California give Lauren a unique perspective to find the perfect venue for your group. The way to Lauren’s heart is through her golden retriever, Gunnar, and a sunset cocktail.

Beth joined Evans Hotels in February 2012 with 14 years of hotel sales experience. She has represented the Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa and The Lodge at Torrey Pines as National Sales Manager, and the Bahia Resort Hotel as Director of Sales. With her knowledge and expertise of the Evans Hotels portfolio, Beth now handles the Mid-Atlantic market for The Lodge and represents all three of our hotels, including the Bahia Sternwheelers and Evans Garage, as Director of National Accounts for Evans Hotels. Beth graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Restaurant Resort Management from Colorado State University. In her spare time, she enjoys time with her husband and children.

Chris joined The Lodge at Torrey Pines in 2023 and handles the Northern California and Northeast markets. Previously, Chris served as the Director of Sales of the iconic Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs and actively participated on the Board of Directors of Destination Colorado Meetings. He also worked as the Director of National Sales at The Broadmoor resort in Colorado Springs, and developed his sales expertise as a Sales Manager for The Omni Grove Park Inn, a historic resort in the Blue Ridge Mountains of his hometown, Asheville, North Carolina.

Heather joined the Group Sales Department at The Lodge in 2017 with expertise in the event industry and a passion for hospitality. Over the last seven years Heather has worked her way up through the Sales Department at The Lodge at Torrey Pines, most recently being promoted to Director of National Accounts. In this new role, Heather is the main point of contact for all groups residing in the Pacific Northwest, Mountain States, and Southeast. In her spare time, you can find Heather enjoying all of San Diego's breathtaking beaches or exploring new breweries in the North County of San Diego.

As the Area Business & Leisure Travel Manager, Matthew is The Lodge's liaison for luxury travel consortia and business travel needs. He handles client requests and corporate accounts for exclusive travel and lifestyle agencies that need under 10 rooms for transient business in San Diego. Matthew has been with The Lodge at Torrey Pines for nearly 20 years and has excelled in his multi-faceted career by starting as a doorman and being promoted to the Reception Services Manager in 2015 before settling into his new role in the Sales Department in 2018. Matthew earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from San Diego State University.

Monica joined our team in 2021 as our Sales Coordinator and was promoted to Sales Manager, Executive Meetings in July of 2022. Now, in her current role as National Sales Manager, she handles the Southern California market. Monica obtained her Bachelor of Science from California State University, Chico, where she studied Hospitality Management and Marketing. Born and raised in the Bay Area, Monica is no stranger to the California Coastline.

Ryan joined The Lodge at Torrey Pines in 2022 and currently handles small market groups of 11-19 rooms. Born and raised in Valencia, California, Ryan earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in Communication Studies. As a working student, Ryan found a true love for the hospitality industry while employed at the Rosewood Miramar Resort in Santa Barbara. Upon graduating, Ryan decided to follow his dream of living by the beach and moved to sunny San Diego. Outside of work, Ryan can be found experiencing the outdoors, creatively expressing himself, and enjoying his ardent passion for music.

Nathan is native of Upstate New York and moved to San Diego following his graduation from Franklin Pierce University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing. Nathan’s dream has always been to live in San Diego since his family started vacationing here annually for the last 15 years. Outside of work Nathan can be found enjoying sporting events, going to the beach, and traveling.

With a dynamic background in events, Indiana joined The Lodge in December 2023 as Sales Coordinator. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from California State Polytechnic University Pomona, she took on event coordination roles for two wedding planners in San Diego. She has also previously worked as a sales event coordinator for City Cruises, managing corporate activities and private dinners aboard five luxury yachts.

Jillian Roberts joined The Lodge at Torrey Pines as Sales Coordinator in October 2024. With a degree in Communications from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, Jillian brings a diverse background in event planning, coordinating marketing efforts, and community relations. Her experience includes working as a Community Relations Intern at the San Diego Padres and as an Outreach Coordinator at Triple V, a nonprofit that empowers students through scholarships and mentorships.
