Toast of the Coast: 4th Annual Beyond the Cellar at The Lodge at Torrey Pines
SEPTEMBER 2024, La Jolla, CA – This autumn plan a sumptuous getaway to The Lodge at Torrey Pines in La Jolla and experience the 4th annual Beyond the Cellar event, featuring some of California’s renowned wineries offering tastings of their most exclusive and reserve vintages. The AAA Five Diamond resort will host the wine tasting soiree on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are limited to this fine wine collector's tasting experience and are currently on sale on The Lodge’s website. The cost is $275 (+ fees) per person, which includes rare reserve tastings, a delectable complementary culinary spread, and valet/self-parking.
Beyond the Cellar is La Jolla’s premier soiree geared toward wine connoisseurs and collectors, where winemakers and winery owners showcase rare and high-end vintages that are not readily available to the public. Perfect for holiday shopping, attendees will have the opportunity to discover, sip and purchase wine from some of the Golden State’s most esteemed wineries. Most of the bottles available for purchase cannot be found in retail stores or ordered online.
Curated by The Lodge’s culinary team, Beyond the Cellar will feature highly coveted wines and experts from a dozen California wineries including Chappellet Winery, Darioush, Far Niente, FUTO Estate, Hundred Acre, Linked, Patrimony Estate, Paul Hobbs Winery, Ramey Wine Cellars, Schramsberg Vineyards, Staglin, and ZD Wines.
Each featured wine will be poured by either the winemaker, proprietor, or spokesperson, providing guests with an intimate one-on-one guided tasting.
Wine tastings will be accompanied by culinary stations of charcuterie and artisanal cheeses along with live entertainment throughout the evening.
