The Lodge at Torrey Pines Receives 2021 Honors from Leading Travel Publications
The resort was recognized as a top luxury destination by the U.S. News & World Report and Forbes Travel Guide.
La Jolla, CA – The Lodge at Torrey Pines, the California craftsman-style resort located adjacent to the acclaimed Torrey Pines Golf Course, received top honors by the U.S. News & World Report and Forbes Travel Guide in February of 2021.
The U.S. News & World Report’s 11th annual Best Hotel rankings recognized The Lodge as the 19th Best Resort and 40th Best Hotel in the United States. Additionally, the property was acknowledged in the California category, it received 4th in Resorts and 8th in Hotels. The hotel and resort standings are determined by a board of travel experts that evaluated more than 30,000 luxury properties across the United States, Europe, Bermuda, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean.
Secondly, both The Lodge at Torrey Pines and its spa, The Spa at Torrey Pines, received 4-star ratings by the 2021 Forbes Travel Guide. The guide is credited as the only global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants, and spas. Luxury properties are evaluated by anonymous, independent, and professional inspectors on criteria based on up to 900 objective standards, with an emphasis on exceptional service.
