The Grill at Torrey Pines Announces
2013 Restaurant Week Menu

(SAN DIEGO, CA) - San Diego visitors and residents will again have the opportunity to enjoy a fine dining experience at a significant discount during the 2013 Restaurant Week celebration at The Grill at Torrey Pines. Restaurant Week, a popular regional event that takes place twice annually, gives food lovers the opportunity to explore the region’s exciting dining scene by offering specially-priced, three-course prix fixe dinner menus at a fraction of the normal cost. The Grill’s Executive Chef Daniel Boling has planned a creative menu of culinary specialties in celebration of the week. In addition to the prix fixe menu offered at $40 per person, diners can also opt for the menu plus recommended beer pairings at $50 per person.

Vanilla Bean, Sage, Brown Butter
Mixed Greens Salad
Goat Cheese Fritter, Pine Nuts, Balsamic Vinegar, and Basil Oil
Shrimp Cocktail
Cocktail Sauce, Lemon, Fresh Horseradish

Beer Steamed Mussels
Fingerling Fries, Bacon, Cabbage, Leeks, Malt Vinegar
Coq au Bière
Brown Ale Chicken Stew, Roasted Breast, Mashed Potatoes, and Root Vegetables
Roasted Strip Loin
Roasted Mushroom Au Jus, Spinach Gratin

Root Beer Float
Vanilla Ice Cream and Henry Weinhard’s Root Beer
Angel Food Cake
Caramelized Pineapple and Whipped Crème Fraiche
Dark Chocolate Mousse
Triple Chocolate Cookie and Raspberries
